August 11, 2005 To: President The Stock Exchange of Thailand Re: Declaration of the performance of Noble Development Public Company Limited and its subsidiaries According to the performance of Noble Development Public Company Limited and its subsidiaries for the six months period ended June 30, 2005 reported net profit of Baht 173.51 million, and Baht 80.19 million for the second quarter, increased by 118.7 percent compared to Baht 36.67 million the net profit for the same period of the previous year. The Company would like to clarify that the change of the performance more than 20% compared to the previous year is mainly due to 1. In the second quarter of 2005, the Company recorded revenues from real estate business of Baht 499.10 million, increased by Baht 40.34 million or 8.8 percent, compared to Baht 458.76 million from the same period of the previous year. In addition, the Company had more revenues from retail business of Baht 12.27 million. 2. The Company's gross profit margin in the second quarter of 2005 was 39.7 percent increased from 37.5 percent in the second quarter of 2004. 3. Selling and administrative expenses in the second quarter of 2005 equal to 21.0 percent of revenues from sales compared to 31.1 percent of the previous year. The selling and administrative expenses decreased by 24.6 percent from the previous year mainly due to the decrease of marketing and advertising expenses of Baht 57 million or 75 percent.
