Preparation for the Y2K Problem Actions for Y2K Problem Any actions between January 30,1999 to April 20,1999 are in process 2 and 5. The plan is on schedule and details are as follow: Process 2 Implementing on PC 2.2 Test all computer system for the year 2000 Done. 2.3 Details implementation plan The summary of testing PCs for Y2K Compliant can be divided into two groups. 1. The group of PCs which their BIOS support the 20th century but they can not be automatically changed to January 1, 2000. Therefore, the company will manually change their date to January 1, 2000, and they can be used without any problem with the 20th century. 2. The group of PCs which their BIOS do not support the 20th century because they are 2 digits.The company will replace by buying 23 new PCs, expected budget is about 575,000 Baht. Process 5 Implementing on Application error 5.1 Novell Netware Upgrade Novell Netware and cost is about 60,000 Baht.
