Noble Development Plc gained net profit equivalent to Bt17.15 m in the 6-month period ending Jun 30, 1997 lower than the same period last by 67% indicating the stagnant severely Thai economy was the key reason for that. Its combined revenues eased 32% down compared with projected digit or 21% of the same period last year as some constrats which may be realised posted 40% down from the projection. Moreover, delayed right transfer as well as hiking interest ratemodified its interest expenses very highly. The company also incurred loss totalling to Bt3.07 m from exchange rate.
