November 15, 2004 To: President The Stock Exchange of Thailand Re: Declaration of the performance of Noble Development Public Company Limited and its subsidiaries According to the performance of Noble Development Public Company Limited and its subsidiaries for the nine months period ended September 30, 2004 reported net profit of MB 194.50, and MB 83.60 for the third quarter, comparing to MB 227.44 net profit for the same period of the previous year, the Company would like to clarify that the change of the performance more than 20% compared to the previous year is mainly due to 1.The Company recorded revenue from sales for the third quarter of the year 2004 totaling MB 468.30, decreased by 37.7 percent comparing to MB 751.49 of the same quarter of the previous year. However, revenue from sales increased from MB 458.76 of the previous quarter of this year. 2.The Company's gross profit for the third quarter of 2004 totaled MB 186.29, or 39.8 percent,increased from 33.4 percent of the same quarter of the year 2003. 3.Selling and administrative expenses increased by MB 47.83, comparing to the same quarter of the previous year. The increase was mainly due to the marketing and advertising expenses and also specific tax. 4.The Company's net profit margin was 17.9 percent, decreased from net profit margin before exceptional item for the same quarter of the previous year, which was 26.3 percent.
